    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This course is a great way to learn how to use the internet to your advantage for journalistic investigation, skills you'll use all through your writing career an even in every day life.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about websites I never would have known about that can be used to find great information. I also learned how to collect information and find patterns that result in unveiling stories.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go to class every week and take advantage of your professor (he's an editor at the Tampa Bay Times) ask him questions as often as you can!

    Course Overview:

    It's very informative for journalism students looking to go into a hard news reporting field.

    Course highlights:

    It deals with a lot of open government and public record laws.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared for a "class project" that is really just a 6-page paper.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This class is entirely based on local government and open records. It is a 3 hour block and very detailed.

    Course highlights:

    The professor sometimes likes to show videos of journalists interviewing and where they go wrong or right, which is interesting and fun!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure to take notes and read the Sunshine Manual. Show up cause attendance is 10%
