This class was tough.
This course is definitely for people who want to go into statistics in the future. It is a little difficult due to its abstract ideas and theories. Professor Wong is a great teacher but his exams are very difficult. Overall, the theories taught in this course is useful for everyone who takes a higher level statistics course.
I learned about the different distributions and how they're used in maximum likelihood estimates and regression and ANOVA. Professor Wong is great and approachable but he has hard exams and homework.

Advice for students:
The textbook is not needed. All his notes are in class. Do NOT skip class. Many of the homework problems can be solved just by understanding what's going on in class. Exams are difficult so do as many practice problems as possible and go to office hours. TAs are helpful too!
