    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Really great class. Professor understands that this is not your only class so he tries to spread out the due dates for assignments to when they most convenience the student.

    Course highlights:

I learned a ton about the history of jazz but the best part was that he included a lot of videos to watch during the course. This made the learning experience much more interactive.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you know when the due dates of assignments are, for example there is something that is due every week but they usually don't take long.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who needs a relatively easy A. It is online and never more than 3 assignments per week, usually 2. The instructor is really good about checking his email and answering questions if you need help but almost every answer can be found in the powerpoints he uploads.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of music in general and a great deal of history, not only in regards to jazz but American history as a whole. There is an entire unit on slavery and how slaves had a huge impact on jazz music. It also shows the evolution of many forms of jazz and the famous figures responsible for them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though it is an online class, the professor takes "attendance" based on how many different times you log on to canvas and in order to receive full credit, you have to log on at least 3 days a week, even if you have already done the assignments for the week.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Easy class if you use your study resources! Especially interesting if you love jazz.

    Course highlights:

You learn about the key players in the making of jazz, the influences, the new styles, and you learn some great new songs!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

My only tip is to use the resources provided by peers to study for the quizzes and exams as they are testing on specific knowledge not general knowledge.
