    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would not recommend this class to anyone who is not required to take it for their major. It is all group work entirely based online which I found counterproductive. The quizzes and assessments can also be unnecessarily confusing and difficult.

    Course highlights:

It's definitely helpful when you will have to start writing research papers later on in

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely try and meet up with the people in your research group in person if you can. This really helps facilitate producing a well written and well thought out final research paper.

This course requires dedication since it has a high level of difficulty.

    Course highlights:

I learned about multiple research designs for research projects.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that students don't memorize or cram the night before but actually take the time to learn and apply the material.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it for those who need to learn more about research methods for future research oriented jobs.

    Course highlights:

At the time I did not try too hard to understand the methods. However, it was a good basic introduction into comparing groups using t-tests and ANOVAs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are interested in pursuing a degree after your BS this class is essential for you. This will give you a small glance into the realm of research in the field of psychology. It is best that you focus and try to understand the material.
