    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is usually a required course for most students taking it. The course isn't necessarily challenging nor easy. It requires a little bit of studying in order to make sure you're really on top of the material, but the professor does a good job providing exercises in class and further explanations/examples of vocabulary and grammar. There are a lot of online assignments which can be annoying and tough to keep up with, but they are all easy--just a lot of them.

    Course highlights:

The course isn't too hard, but still allows you to learn a good amount of information to speak basic Spanish. It's definitely given me the ability to have basic conversations, which is usually the most students need.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Studying the grammar and vocabulary every once in a while helps reinforce it. There are multiple online assignments due every few days, so it is important to keep up with that, otherwise your grade will decrease significantly.
