    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was an excellent course. The professor was very engaging and great at explaining all of the material. This was definitely one of the more challenging courses that I took in my undergraduate career, but was well worth it. The material was very relevant to my career choice (Registered Nurse) and truly helped me to succeed in Nursing School. The professor was also always available to assist after class.

    Course highlights:

I believe that by taking this course I gained a solid foundation on the pathophysiology of the human body and the disease that can affect it. The course was very detail oriented and presented an amazing basis for the medical field.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I think that the best piece of advise would be to study often. Do not get behind on the material and leave it for the last minute to cram before an exam. There is a lot of material that is covered in this class and to succeed you definitely need to stay on top of it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This may be one of the most challenging courses I have ever taken but it is also one of my favorites. Dr. Derrico is a phenomenal teacher - breaking things down so they are easier understood and really makes you learn the material for years to come.

    Course highlights:

I still use knowledge of pathophysiology from this class at the bedside today!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be ready to come to class and take notes. Don't skip class. Don't just memorize information - you need to actually learn it.
