Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Good class. Hands on. Learned a lot. Did many labs.

    Course highlights:

I liked the labs. Trying to figure out why or why you were not successful in the lab. I learned that even a drop difference in a chemical or medium can make or break your experiment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention. If you follow directions and study for all your tests it will make the class passable with an A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend for high school students to take AP chemistry classes. It is a good preparation for college level courses. It is challenging but it is worth it. Many of the college students and professors also recommend to take AP Chemistry during high school, as it is a good start for college level chemistry. Also, it builds up more study skills for the students.

    Course highlights:

AP Chemistry covers the whole periodic table. Most of the chemistry lessons are math related problems, so that will be good course for students who love math and science. Since both of these subjects are combined by chemistry, the students will enjoy everything about this subject. It also consists of labs that we work on every week. We do pogil which is a worksheet that the student do on their own and then discuss it with a group. Then we can ask the teacher if there is something hard to understand and the teacher explain it to the whole class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should always do extra studying at home. For example, for every hour they spend in the classroom they should spend two hours of studying at home. Also, it is always better to finish the homework so the student can participate in the study sessions at school. If the student did not do the homework it will be difficult to understand the questions with the group or the study sessions.
