    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    It is an insightful class that it is intellectually challenging and rigorous. In this class you learn how to apply history to debates and building your understanding of how history built todays world.

    Course highlights:

    Engaging in debates growing your knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do your reading in the book as well as go back and revise your notes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course, while slightly more laborious then others, is an excellent way to understand other histories and cultures of the world on a more personal level.

    Course highlights:

    Many highlights are prominent in this class: discovering the origins of major civilizations, the individual and unique aspects of different cultures, and the art and high fashion styles that rose and fell.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Go in willing to work and open to the new things you'll discover. Notes can be extensive, but the coiurse is wonderfully detailed, so it's not to bad. This class is available to sophomores through seniors, so it's full of many backgrounds, cultures, and age groups.

    I would recommend this course to anyone, because you are able to learn all the tiny details that a standard class leaves out.

    Course highlights:

    I really enjoyed stretching my knowledge about women and African American suffrage.

    When/If you take this course, you must apply yourself and work to your full ability, or you will not make a good grade, or pass.
