    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is for people of different perspectives-- as long as you can listen to music you will appreciate this class. You'll hear everything about jazz- even a little bit about it's inspired derivatives, like rock n roll!

    Course highlights:

I didn't know anything about jazz before, but I've emerged as if I've been listening to jazz my whole life. I know the intimate details-- it's dirty and ugly & it's niceties and elegance. I can definitely sit down at a nice cafe or stand in an elevator and feel good about and appreciate what's being played.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class, listen to the music, and take notes, that's all the material. There is no book or online access. If you have any trouble with attendance or an exam, speak with the professor, he is very accommodating provided you have at least a bit of an excuse.
