Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class can be nerve-wracking for many students, but the environment Prof. Waldinger establishes at the beginning of the semester makes it easy to learn new tricks, learn from others, and acclimating to speaking before an audience comfortable and inviting.

    Course highlights:

The most significant part of this course was gaining written feedback from teachers and peers. When we speak we tend to ignore many of the mistakes we make, but the experience taught how to improve on your ticks like fillers and talking too fast.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you definitely need to make your engagement and attendance a priority. Every day during class, someone is presenting a speech and you can learn from their strengths and weaknesses and apply them to your speaking style.
