Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great class! Everything you will be tested on is in the powerpoints.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much more about genetics than just Punnett squares. It truly was fascinating to have a whole new world of science open up in your mind that explains so much.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes on printed out powerpoint slides! Ask for help when you don't understand, he is approachable!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Genetics is not an easy course so this class won't be easy. But Dr. Wang really wants his students to succeed. He gives a lot of work but with hopes of keeping you accountable and studying throughout the semester so you don't have to cram before exams. He always gives extra credit during exams and he's incredibly willing to help you if you go talk to him. This class requires a lot of work and studying but it's easier with a passionate professor like Dr. Wang.

    Course highlights:

It might sound silly but I really enjoyed filling out Punnet Squares and figuring out what the likelihood of a certain outcome was. The section talking about genetics through environmental factors was really interesting as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study from the very beginning. If you're clear with the fundamentals, everything will be SO much easier.
