Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

"Wes" as we affectionately call him, is an extraordinary professor. His immense knowledge of the subject matter is evident, which he entertainingly transfers to his students. Additionally, the topics covered are applicable to every individual. Personally, I have thoroughly revised my diet since taking this course and know my fellow classmates were likewise enlightened.

    Course highlights:

As a self-trained athlete, I am always looking to optimize my performance. Nutrition is a highly debated and personal topic. This course taught me not just day to day nutrition, but how to mold my diet to my current training regimen. We were presented with evidence based information that busted the nutrition myths that social media so often provides. As a result, I have never felt more confident in how I fuel my body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is a tool. We have one body. What you put in that body is a deterministic factor in how your brain works, in how long you live and what you are able to physically accomplish. The material this course provides is, in my opinion, necessary to living an effective life. This course is not one to get over with. It is a blessing, one that, if treated as such, will benefit you for the rest of your life.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it not only is interesting, but the material you learn can be applied to your everyday routine and implementing the knowledge is effortless. Dr. Smith keeps the lectures interesting and provides real world stories that help with understanding the material from the foundations upward.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the real world application. I learned various diet techniques and what each macronutrient, mineral, antioxidant and supplement does, along with how each affects your body. Now i was able to understand what i was putting in my body and not just going off what the label says!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

This class does require time, but if you pay attention is class and take notes, the study guide that he posts prior to the exam will be easy to fill in and all the test material comes from the study guide. Dr. Smith also goes over the study guide before the exam, quickly, but it helps fill any missing questions and also highlights key points.
