    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is a tough critic and always changes his mind on how he wants things to be presented. However I find this to be very important as it shows how working in a journalism career is actually like.

    Course highlights:

The professor was entertaining and it made me keep up to date on current events. It also made me look at all sides of the story before writing something about it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay calm and do not fight with him. There is a means to his madness and if you just do what he says then you'll get an A.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend it, especially for future journalists. I myself am not a journalism major, but what I have learned from the class I feel has prepared me a lot for that field. This is probably one of the best professors to take it with. I took the class earlier with another teacher but had to drop because of the course load, but the difference is huge.

    Course highlights:

Easy quizzes. Some interesting assignments if you like to write. I learned a lot about the journalism style of writing, including the inverted pyramid style, leads, AP style, grammar.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you study and pay attention to the coursework, it is not too challenging. He teaches it in a way that makes you responsible and actually practice so that your writing improves.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Wakhisi is a very fair and helpful professor. She helps you to understand how to pay attention to sentence structures and details by providing feedback on every assignment. She also gives you opportunities to learn from your mistake and improve your grade.

    Course highlights:

I greatly improved on my journalistic skills.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the homework assignments over and over until you get the grade you want.
