Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very interesting course and Ms. Simmons does an amazing job of teaching it. The literature you will read is very interesting and the course even includes a self-exploration story.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed studying The Great Gatsby. In doing so, I learned a lot more about symbolism and its impacts on a piece of literature. Also, when we read Of Mice And Men, we engaged in discussions regarding the key points of the book. I found these discussions to be very engaging and I learned a lot during them.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to actually read the assigned text. I know this sounds like common sense for an English course, but the class is very difficult without any background knowledge. If you read the texts nightly and make sure you understand them, you will do just fine.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to keep up with all assignments and do not wait until last minute.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The subjects may be boring but over all the content and the teacher are great. You read great books, learn how to analyze them and you develop better writing skills.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would be the variety of things you learn. You read books like the Great Gatsby and Of Mice and Men and you look deeper into the character and you analyze specific parts and objects. You also learn new writing skills and you write some essays, not a lot, to help develop these skills

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Actually read the books that you are assigned, it makes all of the quizzes much easier and you'll enjoy the discussions more. Take your time on your assignments, don't procrastinate and don't half-arse the assignments.
