Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course, because it helps you become a better writer. It also helped me become a more efficient writer, because of the time limits on the essays. I will constantly appreciate this course, for it makes me think further every time I read a new piece of literature or begin a writing assignment.

    Course highlights:

While taking AP Language and Composition, you will learn how to write efficiently, as well as a better writer all together. I was constantly improving my grammar skills throughout the entire year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always stay on top of your work if you take this course. Applying what you have learned in this course to other classes or other assignments also helps to keep your brain ready for the class. When writing essays for this course always explain and extend your thinking.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend the class because it tests your ability to write papers in an effectively quick and simple way, a skills that many college students need to have.

    Course highlights:

I gained an idea of what college writing would require and how to effectively read and write academic papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always be open to the methods your teacher has, what you're learning is difficult and requires a lot of time and effort, they know what they are doing.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This has got to be the easiest AP class there is. The teacher is amazing and the course is basically a review of everything you learned in previous English classes except with more essays and a harder grading system. The only downside is that the final is a 3 hour test and has three essays and a multiple choice section and it makes your brain and hand hurt big time.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would have to be seeing how well you improve in writing specific essays. The final has three different type of essays that you have to write so the entire year you practice writing those types of essays and so you get better as the year goes. Plus it is a super laid back class that has great discussions and group activities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Try to improve your writing skills by paying attention to what the teacher is saying and by using different techniques because if you don't get a certain score on your AP exams then you don't get the college credit and you only get the high school credit so make it count.
