Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I would recommend this AP course because it was the combination of several concepts that were spread out throughout the year, making it easy to learn and understand calculus.
Course highlights:
I learned about derivatives and antiderivatives and how those two concepts can relate to many more.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Make sure you always do your homework.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The material is a little challenging at first, but the extensive knowledge and the application of that knowledge proved fascinating to me. Mr. Stackhouse is an excellent teacher who definitely understands the concepts that he is teaching and is able to develop students in a helpful, kind way.
Course highlights:
Two of the biggest concepts in calculus are derivatives and integrals: the slope of a tangent line, and the area underneath a curve. We learned not only how to find these important calculations, but also the concepts of how they work and how they are applied.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Do the homework. As long as you understand the homework, you will succeed on the tests.
