    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you are interested in the science field, then I recommend taking it because you are required to take it in college anyways. Taking this course in high school gives you a greater advantage and better knowledge when you take the actual course in college.

    Course highlights:

The course was an eye-opener for me, since I am a chemistry nerd. I was fascinated to learn how chemical reactions occurred, and how things evolved in this world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take the course because it will help you succeed in college. You will have a greater advantage over other students, and it is an interesting subject to learn. You will learn a lot and have fun at the same time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Organic Chemistry is a sophomore/junior college level class that many high school students do not have the opportunity to take. Taking this class helps you prepare for the class when you take it in college.

    Course highlights:

This course dealt a lot with carbohydrates. By taking this course, it opened my eyes on how things and reactions work. It also deals a lot with biochemistry, which is what I plan on majoring in, so I enjoyed every aspect of this course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have the opportunity to take this course and you are interested in the science field, take the class. The class is hard, but it is worth it; you won't be so behind/lost when you take the actual course in college. Study, read through the notes a lot, do practice problems and you should be fine!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it because it's challenging enough to compete with other college classes in universities. To pass a quiz or test you must spend an hour or more studying and due to this, one learns discipline and builds character. Plus the things learned are pretty worth it. Chemistry is a way of life.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course was definitely the labs and lectures. Labs made the time fly by because they were fun, not including all the standing of course. Lecture is where we learned a lot. Not just about the topic we were on, but our teacher would share stories relating to the subject and it helped quite a bit.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

One should definitely spend at least half an hour each day studying what was covered that day. The course itself isn't as hard if you study or go in before school to get one on one time with the teacher.
