    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Melko is a great professor for teaching the material and explaining it in full detail. During the course he cares about making sure that his students succeed. He provides multiple worksheets throughout each unit to help give practice before his tests. Also paired with his class he has a supplemental instructor who has taken his class that gives more practice problems and explanations for those who are struggling.

    Course highlights:

This course gave me a better understanding of Chemistry. I feel prepared to move on to the next level. The highlights of this course included the SI sessions and feeling prepared for exams by attending office hours for additional help.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is tough, however if you do all the practice problems given and you attend the SI sessions you will feel more prepared for the exams and they will be less taxing.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Difficult material but doable as long as you don't get overwhelmed and psych yourself out. Teacher was amazing and offered a large amount of help outside of class when asked.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me to believe in myself and my abilities to learn material that I don't find interesting. Once you take this class and do well you feel incredibly proud and successful.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Ask for help when you don't understand something so that you don't get behind, everything in this class builds off of something else. Stay calm when taking exams and don't put too much pressure on yourself of you will psych yourself out and do poorly, even though you know the material. Also, do practice long answer problems at random (with no knowledge of what type of problem it is ex. titration, concentration, ICE chart) so that you can distinguish what type of problem it is without being told since they are all worded similarly.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a mandatory course so it has to be taken for anyone whose major has anything to do with biology or science. It is a very touch course, so its very important you make time to study for it and really work hard in it.

    Course highlights:

Because of the difficulty of the class I learned my flaws in studying, which is that I don't study enough. Chemistry courses especially only get more rigorous as you go from semester to semester, so I've learned to be a very proactive studier.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You HAVE to study, there is no easy way around this class. And especially if you're planning on taking hard courses like these you shouldn't take any easy routes through them because you're taking them to learn the information and retain it. And keep yourself organized and up to date will the syllabus!
