    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys learning about the civil war and wants, but wants to focus less on the battles and more on the human elements of the war.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of the class were learning about the importance of photography, the advancement of medical technology and the structure of northern and southern governments during the war. What I got out of this course was that the civil war was our first modern war and that while we don't highlight it propaganda played a major role in winning the war.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest purchasing your books online from amazon. most of the books are not true textbooks and I was able to get all of them from less than five dollars a piece. I would also recommend taking a note taking course as all slides were provided but most of the information came from the conversations in class.
