Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor conducts interesting and productive discussions allowing the large class to participate on a daily basis. The test aren't too difficult yet, they cover the course material well. Attendance is given as extra credit at the end of the year, however every class is exciting to attend, therefore students shouldn't skip.

    Course highlights:

Sociology showed me an in depth look into the functions and structure of human society.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend the class, everything else is easy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Sociology is one of the most interesting courses I have taken because you get to learn about how people interact and perform from a local, or global standpoint.

    Course highlights:

One thing that I always remember from this course is how socioeconomic status basically ties into every aspect of a society from health to crime rates.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest taking mental notes often and really paying attention in class. He does not suggest homework, notes, or studying. It is an interesting approach to teaching but it truly is effective if you are paying attention in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Intro helped me fall in love with sociology. It was a really great course that helped generalize what sociology is and how it is applicable to everyday life. It also helped shape my career as a sociologist and political scientist.

    Course highlights:

You learn about different cultures, commonalities between people, different theorists of sociology and how their theories are still relevant today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

With any class, make sure you attend and participate. It is also essential to do your homework so you can fully grasp the ideas and theories of the class.
