Dr. Ken Martin makes this staple course challenging in such a way that you get more than just the course material but are forced to learn or embrace essential life skills.
This course delves into the depths of how data is structured for analysis, and the projects focus on algorithmic efficiency as well as effectiveness, whether the objective is to obtain speed or acceptable scaling.

Advice for students:
I would advise all students to take notes, ask plenty of questions, never leave class without understanding what was discussed, and to always read the material, as well as start the projects as soon as possible. Doing this will almost ensure a B, and to obtain an A takes extreme focus and dedication to the course, but it is an experience that won't be forgotten or regretted.
