    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Through this course, I realize the beauty of humans and how we interact. This course showed me how brains are wired to think a certain way and how feelings and situations are affected in the brain. We also learned about different mental health issues that can affect how people see, hear, and speak.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was when we discussed the brain. The brain holds much valuable information and has power over every part of you. We learned how much the brain can be affected by situations and feelings. Simply wording a question differently can result in someone changing their answer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to truly engage in this course. You need to read alot at home and pay attention in class. You'll find the class more interesting than you expected.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course. The teacher, Mr. Rubin, has been teaching this course for a long time (64 times to be exact) so he knows what he's doing and knows how to make the course fun!

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was definitely the review games we played before the test! If you pay attention during the review game and can answer all of the questions correctly then you are ready for the test following it!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say take it. It's really fun and the teacher is very knowledgeable but it is not an easy course and definitely not an easy A. Be prepared to do a fair amount of reading and studying. Also Rubin does not bump, rarely gives extra credit, or drops any grades, but on the bright side there are so many tests and quizzes, if you bomb one it's okay (just don't bomb too many)!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a really fun and interesting course that I would recommend to all of my friends. Even if you don't think you would like the topic, there are many underlying aspects of it too. The only negative is that when the teacher lectures it can get sort of boring and many of the kids have answers to the Tests and quizzes. The vocabulary for every chapter takes a while but other than that the homework is minimal.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much during the semester about how people function and why thhey do certain things. The teacher also plays games with the class to review before the tests which is really fun.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the vocabulary and the review packets, if you get 100s on those they will help your grade with the harder tests.
