    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is the basis for almost all the fields in the medical area, which is the most predominant field students want to go into, nowadays. With chemistry, you not only progress in your medical career, but it helps with general knowledge like knowing what housecleaning supplies to use, and what harms the body.

    Course highlights:

We learn the different elements and how they respond when certain elements are combined. we actually learned how bombs are made, but obviously there are many more elements that make up bombs. I also learned how to determine the death of a a body according to the chemicals present within the soil and under the skin; this is used by crime scene investigators and coroners as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course may be tough for some people because it may be hard to comprehend the functions of molecules and how they work, so all the advice I can give you is study, study, and study. If you're having trouble, get some tutoring because it may help you understand concepts from a different point of view. It's not an easy subject to learn, but it's definitely interesting and useful.
