    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for those who are driven and focused with thick skin. The criticism on your writing is nothing but constructive even though it may be a little disheartening. Ms. Sharber is an extremely talented teacher who gives great strategies on interpreting language but more importantly she has a rather refreshing outlook on life which makes the class even more engaging.

    Course highlights:

The Highlights of the class are definitely the books, for the most part each piece of literature incorporated into our curriculum was extremely engaging and thought provoking. It often feels as if you are not reading for school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always. Do. The. Reading. There is absolutely no way you will pass this course with an A or B without having read the novels assigned by the teacher. They are not even boring so the best thing you can do is read them, they are grade boosters. Also, have thick skin Ms. Sharber may seem harsh with her critique of your writing, but that is because she needs to prepare you for the AP exams,
