Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class dives deeper into knowledge that was covered in Physics 1. You are able to better understand the Universe and the balance of things. If there were things in Physics 1 that grasped your attention you can learn more about it in Physics 2 and to a much greater detail that before. Same can be said for something that you didn’t fully understand in Physics 1.

    Course highlights:

I gained a better understanding of physics in general. Concepts like Special Relativity which were foreign to me at the beginning now make perfect sense. It increased my love for physics tremendously and makes me look forward to Physics C.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. While the class isn’t extremely hard if you choose to put things off till the last minute you will regret it. Take note in class they will help you a ton when you’re studying instead of having to flip through the textbook for specific details. Finally, ASK QUESTIONS!!!!! If there is something you don’t understand find a way to ask your teacher because keeping quiet will only hurt you.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher want the student to succeed and does a great job making physics easy, fun and understandable.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course was the application of what we learned in class to make it easy to understand.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice the work given, don't take the easiest path, and listen in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's an interesting course, where you get a better understanding of the mechanics behind the universe. However, the course is designed in a way that doesn't prepare you for the AP. The course is math based, so if your good at math then go for it, but the math based problems don't help you understand the conceptual part of the AP.

    Course highlights:

Finally got to understand how Airplanes work. Learning mechanics help me better understand how and why Rollercoasters are designed a certain way.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Understand the conceptual portion before taking the AP. Math skills only get you so far, understanding and applying the reasoning behind the equations is essential to physics.
