Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because Mrs. Lawrie is completely involved and interests in the material, making learning easier and more interesting. I loved the class because I learned so much about a subject I truly enjoy and a subject that the teacher obviously enjoyed as well.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the physiology of the human anatomy, not just the structures and their functions, but why these functions occur and how they interact with the functions. I learned in great depth about the relations throghout the systems of the human body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study every night. It doesn't have to be extensive hours of studying, but just read over your notes every night and stay familiar with the material throughout the course. It will help you when it comes time to really study for the tests because the information will be familiar to you.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The material was fascinating but the way Mrs. Lawrie teaches her courses aren't for everyone.

    Course highlights:

I still know every bone in the human body off the top of my head.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep everything you write down in this class and bring a lot of coffee, you'll need it to stay awake.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was by far the most challenging class I've had in all my years of high school. However, it was by far my favorite. I don't think any class could have prepared me more for college than this one has. Mrs. Lawrie is an outstanding teacher who deeply cares about each and every student's success.

    Course highlights:

In this course, my eyes were really opened up to what going down the health career path would entail, and showed me different career options that would be available with this knowledge. The highlights of this course were the different animal dissections, and going on different field trips, such as to the Body's Revealed Exhibit, and Cadaver Labs.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Most students think since this class is an elective, it's going to be a blow off class. That couldn't be further from the truth. Overall, you get out of this course what you put into it, and your grade will reflect that.
