    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I went into it knowing math wasn't my strongest subject and now feel that I have excelled tremendously in math. The advanced concepts that are covered require the brain to not only retain formulas but to truly problem solve. This has helped me become a more competent learner in math.

    Course highlights:

I gained a sense of knowledge. From covering concepts as simple as plotting points and finding slope all the way to things as difficult as the summation of sigma. Everyday I went to class I knew my brain would be challenged with either learning an entirely new concept or building off of a concept I had learned the previous day.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you have to put in the work outside of class. This is not an in class only type of course. Every night I would go home and work on the homework we were assigned until I was solid in the concept. Before quizzes and tests I worked through the whole review rather than just the ones I really struggled with. This was the ensure that I was as prepared as possible. When taking the quizzes and tests in class I made sure to not rush and really understand where my answer came from. As someone who struggles in math these things truly helped me to do well in pre calculus.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pre calculas can be difficult for anyone to understand but the environment and teaching style Mr. Turner has in the class room gives everyone a chance to understand

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Focus and ask teacher for help he is willing to work with you until you understand the concept

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend younger classmen to take this math course. This course can be a little difficult if math is not their strong suit.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course is the amazing teacher I have. He is excellent and very educated. He is battling cancer but he is staying strong and is still teaching every day at school. I have learned that even when life is hard to keep your head up and never look back.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and do the homework and extra credit assignments.
