    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Honestly, speech is not one of the harder classes in college so just stick with it until the end and get that easy A. Even if you don't like public speaking this is a great opportunity in a very low stress environment to just get comfortable with it. Plus the assignments can be fun and interesting because you have the freedom to choose your own creative angle on how to present them.

    Course highlights:

I have given plenty of presentations in my time, but this class helped me get to a point of actually enjoying presenting, and the opportunity to teach and share information, or just another perspective with people. Another significant lesson was how to do that in a well organized way. I not only learned the different kinds of speeches used, but also how to outline and write them.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up! (Prof. Bartee will mark down points for over 3 absences) Especially on speech days, even if you do not have to speak. Getting to analyze the caliber, style, and creativity or sometimes lack thereof in other presentations will give you ideas on improving your own presenting or speech writing skills. Plus, its courteous to be there and listen when others have to present theirs. :)

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great class with the Professor and not only does he greatly help you overcome the fear of presenting, he also takes his time to actually talk with us instead of to us.

    Advice for students:

To follow the professor instruction and pay attention to class, and also to really prepare for the speeches he gives you.
