    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class completely changed my view of History courses. I used to be a "math person" but I loved learning about the entire world, instead of just Texas or the US. I think that this class, along with the teacher, really expanded not only my horizons, but also my knowledge of the world around me and how it came to be what it is today.

    Course highlights:

My personal favorite part of the class was the essays because I love to write and treated them like a problem that I need to solve.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is so much content to learn, you must be prepared to read the textbook and take personal notes, the study guides will not teach you everything you need to know for the AP test.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class for several reasons. Mr. Keiser loves his job and it shows. There is a lot of information and discussion. If you want to do well in this course come prepared. Keep up with the reading and do the reading prior to the class discussion - you will get so much more out of it if you do. If you want to do really well on the AP exam purchase an AP study book and study it all year. Break it down to the subject you are going over in class. This will help you attain a more in depth perspective of the subject and also help you retain the information.

    Course highlights:

I became more reflective of a global perspective. In all honesty this course was so writing heavy that I became a much better writer and better at communicating through my writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come prepared and do the reading. If you don't like reading (or writing) this advanced course may be a lot for you.
