    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Not going to lie- this course was really hard! However, I would recommend this course because I learned alot from it. I didnt just learn about U.S history I learned about studying, time managment, and how college classes work. I say go ahead and put the extra work in now and get your credit for high school and college at the same time.

    Course highlights:

This class is a college course and is set up like one. I learned how to take notes and study for really tough tests and quizzes. The teaching format is in lectures so you definitley get the full college class experience and learn how to handle it before you actually get to college. As for the subject, this course is crammed with information on U.S history and you will definitley learn something.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    1. Read all the books and chapters assigned, the quizzes are very detailed and are hard to pass if you dont do the readings 2. Do ALL the extra credit assigned- it will come in handy at the end of the six weeks 3. Study for the tests - everything you need to know will be in your notes but its alot of notes so go through it and memorize as much as you can 4. Remember all the work you do will pay off!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. West is absolutely filled to the brim with knowledge. He knows what he is talking about, and because of that, you get the most information possible. He also prepares his students foe note taking during college. He speaks at a normal pace and expects you to keep up.

    Course highlights:

I learned more information than I have in any other history class. I also learned several helpful life skills. I know how to write short hand and realized what help and does not help while taking notes and then studying them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, and study them. The class is not hard. You just have to turn in your work. And do any extra credit opportunities you are given. Listen to the lectures carefully and read the textbook.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course was well instructed with different learning styles.

    Course highlights:

Mr. West is a fabulous teacher. Although I previously knew quite a bit of past history, the professor went way more in depth and helped described more details, which in turn only made the course interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get ready to take notes. This is a very good preparation course for college. The more work you put in, the better you'll do.
