    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because it allows for a greater understanding of the movement of objects. Through the completion of this course, subjects such as acceleration, forces and simple machines are introduced and taught. After developing the knowledge gained from this course, I now have a better understanding of movement.

    Course highlights:

In my opinion, the main highlight of this course were the labs. They provided a unique, hands-on form of learning. The instructor included only labs that she felt would increase our understanding of the topic being taught at that moment. From participating in this course, I learned that the movement of objects includes a variety of factors. Movement includes components such as tension, friction, gravity and more. Taking Advanced Placement Physics increased my knowledge on the many factors that occur when discussing the movement of objects.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to go into this course with as a determined mindset. Many new terms and concepts are introduced in this course, and without determination, failure is likely. Students must be willing to work until they understand.
