    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this US history class due to it being a challenge. Especially for someone who needed help with reading more quickly and building up how to write successful essays. This class was always challenging because you had to grasp the understanding and memorizing many of events in the world.

    Course highlights:

What I gained would be reading in a higher grade level then i walked in. I am a weak person at studying and this class build myself to be stronger at study groups , and this class sure made myself and others to make study groups.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

studying is a major part to succeeding in this class. Not doing anything wont get you any where.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Because history is such a massive subject that hits many different points, it can be a pain to try and cram the information into one's brain. My teacher, David Yeatts, however, was able to lecture on history in a way that was completely engaging and effective. We worked at a quick pace, but it wasn't to fast that the information of the previous unit could not be processed. Overall, I really enjoyed being able to learn about the many different aspects of the world in a timely and interesting manner.

    Course highlights:

It was World History, I learned quite a bit. The origins of certain clans and the ways that cultures differed. I also learned to compare and contrast different civilizations that existed at different points in time, which led to an all-encompassing sense of understanding. Quizzes were reasonable and tests were easy to study for, so that was a plus. Also, the note taking strategies I acquired in that course are amazing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Reading the chapters, I've heard, isn't completely essential because the outlines are pretty in depth, but I found that I couldn't survive without reading the chapters assigned. I do recommend that a lot of time be put into taking notes over the assigned reading.
