Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I completely recommend this course because it will allow you to understand your surroundings better than ever! You learn to understand not only yourself, but those around you. It's a great class that will shape your view of the world. Also, I have never met someone who has taken this class and not absolutely loved it.

    Course highlights:

My favorite learning experience of this course was that of the brain unit. In this unit, you learn how exactly the brain works, which opens up so many opportunities for you. By understanding the biology of the brain, you are able to study, communicate, and think immensely better. This was particularly important to me because I would like to be a social worker and understanding how people function will be a large part of my job.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You must study! The majority of this class is memorization and linking ideas from the beginning of the year to ideas from the end of the year. If you do not study a little bit everyday, you will quickly lose track of the concepts and fall behind.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class not only teaches you how to handle social situations with others, it teaches you more than you could imagine about yourself! It gives you the opportunity to learn how and why people act the way they do, giving you a new confidence when dealing with new people.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course for me, personally, included diagnosing some of my own personal issues and using them to improve upon myself. I learned how to handle myself when it comes to new situations and how to control my own emotions. This course gives you a new sense of self.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to talk about a lot of sensitive subjects. In this course, you learn about the way people work, meaning even the way the worst people work. We talked for hours in my class about serial killers and suicide, so if you're not one for sensitive topics, avoid this class.
