    Advice for students:

I would highly recommend it, its not that bad at all. And the only advice that I would give is that complete assignments on time, pace yourself, and never fall behind in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you are a highly motivated student and truly do have a passion for Biology. It is a very reading intensive class and you must be good at taking notes as sometimes she gives lectures during class.

    Course highlights:

My favorite topic to talk about was DNA. We had a lab where we were able to extract are own DNA from our cheek samples and we were able to gather enough to see it in a vial. Another of my favorite labs was when we were able to make bacteria cells express a gene named pGAP which made them glow under ultraviolet light.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise to set aside at least an hour each night to read your Biology book. The units are large and you do not want to miss out on any information which the teacher may have barely mentioned in class. If you simply refresh your self on the information you have learned that day in class you will be ready for any of the tests.
