Always Do the Reading
Many Small Assignments
This class was tough.
i would recommend this class because overall the subject is tremendously interesting. the teacher who teaches AP Biology also teaches Anatomy & Physiology, i took anatomy last year and am currently taking AP Bio. this year. The teacher is very passionate about her subject and really connects with the students in her class. she also has a Facebook where she continues to communicate with alumni who have already graduated and are now in college. Mrs. Guillory is one of the most passionate and hard working teachers I've had, and she is also my favorite too.
i learned many detailed information about the multitude of things happening inside the body. Mitosis and Meiosis is what i am currently learning. Although we are still in the first semester of the course, so far one of th main highlights of this course is the labs. so far we have doen almost four labs and i am a visual learner, these labs help develop my knowledge on photosynthesis, cellular respiration, meiosis, and many other biology topics. these labs also help give students a real life example as to what is happening all around them without them even realizing.

Advice for students:
i would say make sure to read and take notes on the chapters assigned. Also turn in all lab reports on time and do any or all of the extra credit given. this course will not be difficult if the work is being done but it takes time and effort to pass this class because it is for students who want to challenge themselves to strive for more rigorous courses.
