Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because although it is an AP course, the material that we study is interesting and is not just about taking notes in a classroom. It is also much simpler than the other AP courses I have taken.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course would have to be the labs that we performed. Most times they dealt with food, so my teacher always made she to incorporate things that would help us grasp the material while enjoying the assignment..

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to keep up with the work. It is not like math where it is easy to fall behind, however, it has very important details in each unit that can be missed if proper attention is not given.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Environmental science teaches students about the degradation of the habitats and biodiversity around us. Such recognition of these problems helps individuals take action and hopefully restore the environment around us.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include learning about things that will affect one's future and what a person can do to ensure that our environment is healthy and can support us. We learn about biomes, human populations, ecosystems, and many other things as well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, one must be able to take on a substantial amount of work and be able to manage his or her time in regards to other classes. However the ability to earn college credit and learn about the environment around you is not an opportunity a person should pass up. Therefore I highly recommend taking AP Environmental Science.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a very fun and enjoyable class. The information is easy to relate to the world around you, and so much of it is not difficult to understand.

    Course highlights:

The many projects are definitely my favorite highlight. Getting to learn about food from around the world, the impacts of human activity, and the many ways we are and can stop our negative effects are all amazing lessons that I have learned.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to keep up with the reading because there are many quizzes in this class.
