Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I typically do not consider myself to be a history buff but after taking this course and receiving a 4 on the AP test I would recommend it to everyone. Mrs. Hunt made the experience of taking this class enjoyable and sent me into the AP test very well prepared.

    Course highlights:

From taking this course, not only did I gain college credit, I also gained a vast knowledge of the world before i was alive and also as i know it today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The class has built in grades to boost your averages, so take advantage of them. Don't be someone who messes up their GPA by being lazy and not taking advantage of the opportunities given to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a great course that forces you to learn the events that have led to where we are now and is a great introduction into AP, where not only memorization but also analysis is a key skill for higher academic success.

    Course highlights:

Hunt does a great job of making this course come alive with one excercise where each table of students is a world power and have to figure out the interests and position of their world power in WWII times.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorization is key for easy 100s that you need in order to create a cushion for when you take those first couple of tests and start off with a low grade that you need to raise.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It prepares you for the AP courses you will take in the future and will make any AP history course you take after WHAP so much more easier.

    Course highlights:

The lectures were very interesting and certain activities that modeled certain historical events gave me a better understanding of history. I learned how diverse the world is and how all the historical facts is what lead up to global diversity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

At first, this class will be hard because for many, it's the first AP class they will ever take. However, when you figure out how the class works and the most efficient way to absorb the material, it is a manageable class.
