Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
The teacher is amazing. She helps every student to the best of her ability and makes the class fun!
Course highlights:
Postulates. Slightly difficult, but that's what math's about, right?
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
Go for it! The class is a great beginning to high school math
Pretty easy, overall.
Course Overview:
I would recommend taking Geometry if you are planning to be in a math related major in college; this will prepare you.
Course highlights:
The highlights of geometry was being able to make a oversized object of your choice. I learned that this can be used to buildings.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Study everything; the more you learn the more advanced you will be in your other future math classes.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I recommend this class although it sometimes took a while to study and I had to put some effort.
Course highlights:
My favorite part of the course was the teacher, who explained really well. Apart from that, I found it more interesting than algebra because it applied math to figures and shapes. Instead of just doing formulas, I could work on angles, surface area, volume, etc.
Hours per week:
0-2 hours
Advice for students:
I checked out a textbook to take home. I think it was the best choice because almost all the homework is from the textbook and I wasn't always connected to wifi or had my phone charged to work with the online textbook. Also, if you don't understand a concept, ask for clarification after class or afterschool in a tutorial. Soon quizzes or tests will come, and if you didn't understand completely, you most likely won't have time to figure it out since tests have many time taking questions and limited time. Also, if you don't get a question in an exam, skip it and come back later, since this will at least let you finish easier questions.
