    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Coach Davis is an incredibly engaging and passionate teacher, and is very thorough in her instruction. Her class is always interesting, and she uses a variety of teaching techniques to help everyone prepare for the AP exam.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how other people think, learn, and react to different situations. I also got to learn about many of the psychology experiments performed in the past, as well as how they can go horribly wrong, such as the Stanford Prison Experiment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you will need to put in time and effort into learning some of the material each day. There is a lot of interesting material to learn in this course, but if you pay attention in class and read the textbook, you will succeed.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend taking AP Psychology because it is a fun and interesting class! The concepts and experiments we learn about really make you reflect on yourself and what you do. Additionally, it's fun to do the same experiments on family and friends and watch them bring the same results you learned about.

    Course highlights:

My favorite unit in psychology so far has been the social development unit. We learned about Zimbardo's Stanford Experiment, Soloman Asch's experiments and several more, all of which reveal the depth and darkness of the human mind. Due to the course so far, my perspective and thinking on many things have changed and it helps me see the actions of others in a new light.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't stress over it. It is a one semester course in my school so it can get a little overwhelming at times, but if you take it one step at a time, you'll find it's actually a very enlightening class. Enjoy what you're learning and just to have a little fun, try and see if you can apply what you learned in class on people close to you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it helped me appreciate human behaviors more. There are many psychiatric disorders and their causes. As a 17year old, you could stop and stare at someone when they are different from you. This course assisted with teaching me fundamentals of human behavior and now when I see people behaving the way they do, I understand issues that occur that are beyond their control.

    Course highlights:

I learnt the different diagnostic codes for most psychiatric disorders. I learnt that in each diagnotic code you can eliminate a set of behavior and categorise the individual differently.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Collaborate with others to study the different codes and discuss the topics
