Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course to students who are diligent and willing to spend time outside of school teaching themselves the course material. This course is mostly self-taught, so students who have the time do not have the time to keep up with the textbook content will struggle to do well. The course material and the textbook are interesting, and those with a passion for history may find the class intriguing.

    Course highlights:

I learned about U.S. history in so much detail, thanks to the extensive material in the textbook, and was able to prepare all year for the AP exam. I also discovered ways to take notes on the textbook material and how to manage my time effectively in order to do well.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is mostly self-taught through reading the textbook, so students need to be aware that this course will require a lot of work. I would recommend reading a little bit of the chapter each day in order to avoid cramming before a quiz or test, and to help remember the information read.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was very entertaining and stimulating but it required a lot of dedication and hard work so it may not be for everyone.

    Course highlights:

It better shaped my world view and showed me where many of today's political debates and issues stemmed from.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are ready to commit to this course and work hard! You can't get a decent grade by slacking off.
