    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I would definitely recommend this course. This class prepares you for college and all that is demanded from it. It builds up your skills and helps you find out what methods work best for, while at the same time challenges your abilities.

    Course highlights:

    An absolute gain that i received while taking this course is my writing skills. During the time i took this course my reading and writing skills excelled profoundly. This course also requires effort and work and encourages participation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    In order to succeed in this course actual effort is required. Do the reading, do research, think outside of the box and participate in group discussions.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Mrs. Jouett teaches you thoroughly. She shows you how to write proper essays to prepare you for college while also preparing you for the SAT test you take as a senior.

    Course highlights:

    I learned to try you best to not use "be" verbs in your essays to make it stronger. I learned what to expect when it came time for me to take my SAT test and i was prepared for it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Work hard and don't get behind. It can get difficult at times but it pays off in the end.

    Mrs. Jouett is caring, fair, and great teacher who shares personal and scholarly information in order to help every student.

    Course highlights:

    The skills and information learned will benefit me in many areas within school and real world environments.

    The work is challenging but worth all the stress in the end when you realize how much it prepares you for college.
