    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

‪I have no strong feels for the course either way because it depends on how interested a student might be in learning about Chemistry. Science is not my best subject, however, I still opted to take Pre-AP Chem to challenge myself. If a student had a true love for science, especially Chemistry, then I would recommend the course.‬

    Course highlights:

As a student who is not the biggest fan of science, I did not take a way much from this course, in all honesty. However, the highlights of the course was the opportunity to conduct many labs. The labs allowed me to interact with other classmates and allowed for visual learners and kinesthetic learners to better grasp the information of the unit. To conclude, it's a very interactive class; something I especially liked about the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students considering Pre-AP Chemistry is to not be afraid to ask any question they might have on a particular set of work. The more questions students ask, the better they will understand the unit, considering it is math-heavy.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would have recommended this course to someone and not highly because the course was very strenuous for my classmates. I did very well because I asked questions when I was confused. Everyone else just stayed in the dark and were afraid to ask questions. If you ask questions, you'll learn.

    Course highlights:

I learn all of the basics of chemistry as well as upper lever concepts and themes. I'm prepared to take AP chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions so you will not be confused. Don't be afraid to ask a question.

    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

EXTREMELY rigorous course. To those that do not have the ability to pick up math skills and do not have to best memory I would not recommend. During my time in this course, I learned that I was not good at chemistry. The teacher was not very open to new methods and seemed to have a one track mind. Although I was unable to grasp a handle on this course, most of my peers seemed to be on the same wave length as the teacher, and so hats off to them.

    Course highlights:

I learned in this course some of the periodic table as well as some of who the scientists were that discovered the elements. I also discovered the proper ways to stay safe in a lab.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to pay CLOSE attention from the get go. Extremely challenging and stressful course, especially with a teacher as close minded as she.
