Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it will definitely prepare you for how a real college class would be like and how the workload can pile up. This might sound really intimidating, but it is not as long as you plan ahead of time and actually take time to ask questions and do the work. As long as you follow the syllabus and guidelines given by the instructor you are guaranteed to be successful during this course.

    Course highlights:

While taking this course you will learn about Gothic literature, the Shakespearean time period, and other interesting topics that will blow your mind away and actually give you something to think about. There will be quizzes, tests and essays based on vocabulary and novels in which you will be reading and learning about on your own or in small discussion groups. There will be plenty of opportunities to improve your grade if you are not satisfied and as long as you participate and ask questions you will be fine. From taking this course I have learned to take my work more seriously and that participation counts! I learned the importance of actually turning in work on time and studying because believe it or not those quiz grades are very helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you will definitely have to prioritize and you can not procrastinate. Turning in work on time is very important because it will affect your overall grade and one late or missing assignment could turn your "A" average into a "B" average. Most of the readings for this course will turn into a test or a essay comparing one or more of the books so you must read because Spark notes will not help. Do not wait until the last minute to work on essays because they require research and certain criteria that can take days to come up with before actually starting to type the essay. If you are stuck on something do not be afraid to ask questions because they are very helpful and will actually improve your grade. Interact will your classmates because you might need them one day and y'all could form study groups outside of class. Be ready to sacrifice some sporting events or outings with friends because this course is based upon time management and if you do not know how to you will be stuck.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a college level class. It gets students prepared for their first year in college. Plus, it counts as a college credit so you don't have to take the beginner class once you go to college. It teaches you communication and requires many group conversations on what you learned. Overall, it is great for students in high school.

    Course highlights:

From this course, I gained more communication skills and more skills on managing my time. I've learned to talk to students in my class that I wouldn't talk to on a daily basis and I've managed to stay on top of my assignments.pp

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, you need to have time management. The teacher will sometimes give you an assignment that isn't due until a month later. That may sound easy and with more time to spare. However, there are only 24 hours in the day and the days do go by fast.
