Coach was one of the best science teachers i've ever had! He really explained aquatic science were it was easy to understand. I want to be a marine biologist and he just made me want to continue that path

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course contains the basic concepts of biology, expanded from the freshman required biology. It opened my mind to the different fields of study branching from biology.

    Course highlights:

I still remember things that are helping me in my college studies! For example, the base pairs of DNA, guanine, cytosine, adenine, and thymine. The highlight was the end of the year project, where we had the opportunity to use the knowledge we've learned and use our creativity to produce anything we'd like. My friend and I did a music video together, where we wrote, produced, and directed it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you stay on top of things, everything will be fine. It is challenging materials sometimes, but Mr. Peach is always there to help you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a difficult, but very rewarding course! If you like labs, learning about cells, and discussing evolution, this course is for you.

    Course highlights:

More than anything, I learned more about all of the work that goes on inside of our cells, and how that contributes to the organism as a whole.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always jot down notes during the lectures. That's when he gives important info that will show up on the test, but he goes fast, so work on your short hand! Also, he doesn't ever check your lab notebook, so if there's something in there that isn't adding up, don't sweat it.
