    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course because Mrs. Black went step by step to explain how to efficiently use MLA and what is needed to write a great essay in college.

    Course highlights:

Mrs. Black always made it fun in a learning environment. Whether it was paraphrasing poems or being in discussion groups after reading the night before, English 1301 is definitely the foundation class to future classes in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I know for some people, it's a big step. Don't let anything scare you. You don't need any prior class to be in English 1301. Mrs. Black is understanding and she loves to teach!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, for I am taking dual credit and I am still able to balance it with my extra-curricular clubs as well as activities. In my course it is mainly writing multiple essays in a timely manner and staying organized. If you put your mind to it, YOU CAN DO IT!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was an essay in which I had to combine other essays over the same topic. I learned how to write and collaborate a vast amount of articles into one in a timely fashion.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you ask the teacher about any concerns of any papers that you have to write, for many times if the smallest thing is off, that is points off the paper. Make sure you do not wait till the last minute when given a paper, for it will sound like it was done last minute.

This course has taught me different writing skills that I can now obtain and use for other classes. The highlights were that it is non-fiction and the writing assignments are very entertaining.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, deadlines are very important! If instructions are unclear, ask!
