Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class expanded my perspective on literature completely! Mr.Boman pushes his students to look beyond the words of a writer and to look into the hearts of the author and the characters of a book!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course is that the work remains consistent through the school year. Your deadlines are given to you before hand as are the books and you complete the assignment at your own rate. It teaches you the responsibility of a college students.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because of the teacher. She really made everyone enjoy English, she pushed the boundaries, and she taught us not to fit ourselves into this bubble that society, school has created for us. She talked about the real stuff that is going on in the world, from politics, to culture, to religion. You don't only learn about English, you learn about everything, from a teacher who will only want to make you better.

    Course highlights:

My highlights from this course would be meeting all the diverse people in this class that were very accepting of my background. Moving to a new school is hard, but not when the students and teacher really make you feel included, it's not so bad at all. I also learned that I have a unique style of writing, Cavalier as she said it. She really made me want to become better as a writer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students entering an English AP class is to stay on task. Know what you're getting yourself into, the class is full of essays, so if you like writing stay, if not, this isn't the class for you. Take risks with what you do, don't try to fit into this score bubble, branch yourself out, don't be boring.
