    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For those who want to major in a health science field, love human anatomy, or simply are looking for a stimulating science credit, this is the class for you! Students learn detailed names and information about the bones, muscles, and organ systems (the anatomy) while being taught how and why bodily systems function (the physiology). The teacher keeps the class engaged with stories, animations, and various dissections.

    Course highlights:

The dissections were engaging and interesting. These dissections included a sheep heart, a lamb brain, and a fetal pig. Each bodily system included hands-on learning with an actual skeleton, muscle animations, and various drawing activities.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study and memorize materials. Memorization is the key to success in this class. Come prepared to intimately know and understand each bodily system.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although I am not going to further my education based on what I learned from this class, I thoroughly enjoyed the class and the immense information taught. I highly recommend to take this course because of the variety of activities that are engaging, the hands-on learning, and the overall fun of the class!

    Course highlights:

The skeletal system was my favorite unit to study, and the activities in class made the studying and memorization of every nook and cranny of each bone made it more enjoyable!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise to the students taking this course to be prepared to do a lot of studying, and not to beat yourself up if you get a bad grade every once and a while, the class keeps moving, and you need to keep up with it.
