Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Iskra is a very good teacher, and the class is a very thought provoking course based on the reading materials that were provided during the course of the semester.

    Course highlights:

During the class, I learned more about improving my writing as well as developing my own individual ideas as a person during the assigned papers that we had to write.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One of the most important things is to make sure that you understand the text that you are assigned. As long as you actually do the reading, passing the class isn't hard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This dual credit course allows you to get a jump start on college without having to take the AP test, and helps you write effective essays.

    Course highlights:

English not only opens your eyes to the art of literature, but also to global conflicts, social issues, and new ideas. You learn more than just how to write a good essay. You learn to become more aware of the world that surrounds you.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes while you read. It's okay if you don't understand the content initially. The point is to jot down your thoughts and to build off of them along the way. Your initial reactions can say a lot about a piece.
