Always Do the Reading
Lots of Writing
This class was tough.
I would reccomend this course to highly motivated induviduals that look forward to expanding their knowledge on the fundamental basics of writing and composition. I would have awarded this class a total of five stars; however, the amount of work, reading, and writing was extensive. My teacher was exceptional, and took time to critique and discuss the criteria with the class. If my teacher had not of been so enthusiastic and involved with the curriculum, then the class would have been more of an independent study due to the amount of workload.
My favorite part of this course was the reading, and the class discussions that followed. Getting to collaborate and share opinions with others was something I looked forward to each day. My teacher did an outstanding job at connecting motifs of literature to current events, and making the class question the progression of society.

Advice for students:
Thoroughly annotating every piece of literature is what helped me do so well in this course. Taking the time to study the cirruculum weeks before the test helped me to absorb the concrete material we had learned, and to spend my time on the test deciphering the critical thinking questions.
