    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a thorough class, but challenging. He doesn't give a lot of assignments, so each one counts a lot.

    Course highlights:

I really got the most benefit of learning how to write a short essay but still get my point across.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Print out the notes he puts on D2L.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He is an amazing teacher who presents his material with excellent humor. His class makes you love history and his class is like watching theatre. He gets the students into it, and has no issue conveying information. He is always in his office to talk and will sit just to chat with you forever. Best teacher in the world!

    Course highlights:

I fell in love with history all over again. I learned that even our forefathers had flaws and made mistakes. I learned that being a fun teacher wasn't impossible so long as you demonstrated a passion for the material as Dr. Galt-Brown does. I want to be that kind of teacher.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the assigned pages in your history book before class so that you will have a better understanding of the subject. It's not 100% necessary though because listening to him explain things makes it so much easier. His tests do require that you read the book though. His lectures cover most everything, but the book goes over some additional tidbits of history.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very good teacher and good discussions.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the discussions and I learned how to interpret what was going on in history not just facts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Note cards and listen in class.
